The Role
Thoroughly enjoyed my work placement, each day brought new challenges and it was a friendly working environment.
All colleagues were very friendly and welcoming, in all the Prysmian sites.
Management were very supportive and if any problems occurred they would happily help all the students.
Depending on the current projects, each day was different with the beginning of each month being the busiest.
Individual responsibility over many projects.
During my placement I learned many skills that I would not have otherwise acquired in University, especially communication skills and self confidence.
The Company
Very, friendly upbeat office atmosphere.
Very well set up and a 2 week handover training period with the previous student.
The company allowed me to attend a Microsoft Office training days.
Flexi Time
Company Parties/Events
Staff Sales/Staff Shop
Above 25 days holiday
Currently unknown.
The Culture
There were many social activities between colleagues, and students ate lunch together each day. Very reassuring to have other students to share the experience with.
Cost of living was reasonable.
Lively.
Other than football on a Wednesday after work, no other activities.
