The Role
The day was really enjoyable and I quickly felt at ease with everyone.
There was a lot of teamwork so everyone had to get stuck in and my team got on really well.
The facilitator that worked alongside us helped us out whenever we were stuck and made the day run smoothly.
There was a reasonable amount for us to do during the day however it was hard to keep everyone focused all the time so if we were slightly busier we would not have had this issue.
There was plenty of responsibility to take on if you wanted to. Everyone had a role within the team so it was up to you on how much you wanted to be involved in, which was a good balance.
I think the skills developed during the insight day will help greatly in the future. Being able to get on with new people and work well in a team will help even in day-to-day life.
The Company
Everyone was quite nervous but ready to make an effort to chat.
It was clear that there was a format to the day which helped reassure me as i knew we were working towards something
It is very unusual to get the amount of feedback we got from EY, which made it even better.
Healthcare/Dental
There are lots of schemes to get involved in within EY, which i will definitely look towards applying to.
The Culture
This did not apply to the day.
We all got our travel costs reimbursed so there was nothing that put us out of pocket.
