  • 1. To what extent did you enjoy your work placement or internship?
  • Overall I have really enjoyed every aspects of my vacation scheme at Stephenson Harwood.

  • Everyone I talked to in my department was friendly and were willing to answer questions.

  • 6. To what extent did/will the skills you developed, and training you received, assist you in your degree studies and beyond?
  • The talks on the different departments were useful to find out more about the firm. I wouldn't say that the work i was given to do in my department has assisted me particularly with my studies, however.

  • 7. What was the general atmosphere in your office?
  • Everyone is very laid back and friendly. It is clear that everyone knows each other and they all get along well.

  • There were no elements of disorganisation I would say, other than the occasional room change, however this is a non-issue.

    The Culture

  • 12. Was there a good social scene amongst any fellow placement students/colleagues?
  • We went out for a drinks evening which most/ all of the trainee buddies attended and it was a very good opportunity to chat about things other than the office.

  • 13. What was the cost of living and socialising in the area you worked in?
  • The area is relatively expensive, however we had a fun drinks evening which Stephenson Harwood contributed generously towards.

  • Lots of good bars(and Amber).

  • 15. Were there many opportunities to get involved in activities outside of work?
  • We weren't really here long enough to get involved in other activities other than the ones on the itinerary.
