The Role
Although it was initially a bit of a steep learning curve, it was incredibly interesting and I felt that I learned an awful lot.
Everyone was very welcoming and there was a good atmosphere within the two teams that I worked with.
Everyone was very supportive and made sure that I understood what I was meant to do and why I was doing it.
ALthough some days were quieter than others, I was never bored or felt under too much pressure.
By the end of my placement I was being given more responsibility and being allowed to write parts of working papers.
I will be joining the firm after I graduate so the skills will be incredibly useful.
The Company
Graduate Recruitment were always very quick to respons (typically 24 hours) after application stages and were always very helpful if I needed to ring up with a query.
I was sent on a 2 day training course prior to the start of my placement.
The Culture
I was the only intern with my office yet I was able to go on CSR with other interns, some of whom I still keep in touch with.
