  • I had regular meetings with my supervisor to check I was happy with what I was doing and if I needed any help.

  • I was given enough responsibility to feel trusted but not too much to feel out of my depth.

  • Everyone got on very well with each other.

  • Generally very organised with a clear plan and structure of what I would be doing and when.

  • 9. In terms of personal training and development, to what extent did the company or firm invest in you?
  • I spent time in training with all the sections of the office and individual training with about 80% of the staff which meant I got to know everyone. Even though I couldn't use everything I was taught, I really appreciated expanding my knowledge and was very grateful that everyone gave up time to spend with me and explain what role they played in the business.

  • 12. Was there a good social scene amongst any fellow placement students/colleagues?
  • In my particular office I was the only intern but got on very well with the other interns at the induction and presentation days.

  • Fairly reasonable compared to London prices where I go to university.

  • Lots of nice pubs and a good range of classy bars and cheesy clubs.
