The Role
I love my placement. The people are so friendly and helpful, not once have I felt like an intern, I get given a lot of responsibility which is invaluable experience to me.
Straight away I was made to feel welcome and included. I've always felt like a crucial part of the team.
Everyday, if I need help or more work to do I have the support not only from my manager but from the whole team.
Some days are busier than others but there is always something to do so I wouldn;t be bored for long. Also, if I had too much work I wouldn't hesitate to speak to my manager as I know something could be worked out.
A lot of responsibility, from speaking to journalists, organising events and press trips. I also have the responsibility of managing DMAX Twitter page!
they are invaluable to me and the experience will certainly help me get my next job!
The Company
a mixture, obviously there is work to do but it is never dull!
I knew what I was doing from day one.
A lot of time and money, on my first day I was in a company induction which taught me a lot. Since then I have been to two communication summits in London which has given me the opportunity to meet people within the industry, people who work in other regions and also key industry leaders. This has broadened my knowledge of PR.

Extremely good, Discovery is a global brand which is growing everyday. I would definitely love to work here permenantly once my internship has finished.
The Culture
Yes, we meet for lunch/drinks occaisonally and attend any workshop events together.
I don't live in the area but know a few people that do and cost of living is like everywhere in London. As for socialising there are two pubs/bars on our park and they offer discounted drinks.
Chiswick high road has a number of restaurants and pubs which is handy for after work drinks!!
A few, I would like to do more. Sometimes it's difficult to know what's going on all of the time as the team are pretty busy day to day but I know if I ask I would given the opportunity.
