The Role
My internship at Intel has offered me some of the best exposure possible globally for a company of this size. Being a global role, lets you experience the different cultures of business from all aspects of the planet.
As with most jobs, some colleagues couldn't have survived the year without your help. However, others offer no comment.
Guidance is avaliable, however, isn't offered on a plate. This allows you to develop yourself off your own hard work, but also the option of your manager to give you some space when needed.
Being a member of a global team, I have had to work extended hours. Saying this, having the role I have here, has caused me to learn and devlop vastly. Small price to pay, considering how much you learn.
Varies task to task, some jobs would have fallen short without my help. However, others I had a more consulting role. The sense of achievement when you successfully complete a "running the show" task is amazing, and offer great content for your CV.
University is great, however some things cannot be taught, but learnt from expereince. My placemnet has offered this in bundles.
The Company

I had a 5 week handover with my previous intern, comments were made by team members on how seamless the transition was.
