The Role
Really enjoyed the responsibility given & varied work environments.
Never felt like an Intern, treated the same by all.
Support could be given if asked, however not neccesarry. You own meetings, agenda and frequency. Guidance recieved was high, I managed my meetings around career development.
I enjoy being busy, you can take on projects to increase your workload. It is just management of that to ensure you don't take on to much.
High levels in your core role and again ownership on certain projects.
I will use many of the skills, even just development in basic tools like excel. Management of time and critical thinking will be the most useful for the remainder my degree.
The Company
Great environment
I think at the begining interns usually worry as everyone recieves emails at different times etc.
Allowed to attend any training courses you feel relevant.
Sports and Social Club
Subsidised/Company Gym
National Travel
Financial Bonus
Company Parties/Events
Above 25 days holiday
Healthcare from home
Very good, however limited to certain departments for grad schemes, which is a shame!
The Culture
Could have made more of this. But again, this is for us to arrange.
Such cheap rent compared to uni towns!
Terrible clubs, but the people make a night!
I got involved in local area activities outside work. But also within work this is possible.
