About You
I really enjoyed all my time- hard to say what can be improved.
All my work had value- no admin!
Plenty- challenging, varied and diverse work but with all the guidance I needed from my trainee buddy, supervisor, and partner I was sat with.
Exposed to great practical work. Enjoyed seeing deals happen.
The Company
Really well-planned. Lots of diversity. Great presentations but enough time left to do work.
Really supportive, warm and keen to find ways to integrate me into the team and ensure I saw a good cross-section of life as a trainee.
Lots of skills sessions to prepare us for assessment centres. Feedback given on our performance at assessment centre so that we could improve. Lots of contact with trainees who offered tips.
I feel that I was able to see a lot of the firm. We were able to speak to lots of trainees, associates and partners and gain a lot of perspective on what full-time work would be like.
Insight came in many forms- meeting people, through presentations, access to intranet, from asking numerous questions.
Great.
Everything Else
And reimbursed for expenses to assessment centre.
I met at least 30 trainees, and spoke to almost all the associates in the department, and about half of the partners, as well as meeting more outside my department via presentations.
Two great socials- one, a cocktail-making event in Shoreditch, and the other, a nice dinner near Farringdon. Both were pitched well- the first was more upbeat, and high energy, and given that the second was the day before my interview, it was pleasantly chilled.
We had a really good CSR talk and were given the opportunity to participate, but given the timings, I couldn't make it.
Already have.
