About You
It was a fun and interesting experience overall .
We were treated very well.
Not particularly relevant, as it was a two-day programme focused on getting to know the firm.
Very useful 'Personal Branding' session.
The Company
The structure was logical and made sense,
Naturally a bit tense and awkward, but as the 'Pathfinders' got to know each other, the atmosphere improved greatly.
Very useful 'Personal Branding' session, but as a two-day programme, there was generally not much scope for personal training and development.
Improved my knowledge from non-existent to something of worth but the persistent problem of finding it difficult to differentiate one firm from another similarly-sized firm remains; but this can probably be only solved by a full-on vacation scheme at said firms to really differentiate firms.
Again, the additional knowledge was helpful but the persistent problem of finding it difficult to differentiate one firm from another similarly-sized firm remains.
Having seen what the trainees do puts me in a more informed position to judge whether becoming a city lawyer is for me.
Everything Else
The copious amounts of food and drink was free, and my expenses were reimbursed.
I shadowed two trainees for a couple of hours each and briefly spoke to four more.
There was a quite fun quiz (with plenty of food and drink).
Ski-trips and holidays together, dinners etc.
Very much so.
