The Role
Exiciting Company, exciting work colleagues, and exciting job The job was varied, fun and entertaining at times
My colleagues were great, the top dogs in the company socialised with the placement students - there were no divides between the ranks!
If i had any questions, they would answer them!
Every day was different, coming in contact with different people each day.
A lot, i had to report to my line manager who was a high up manager. This allowed me to interact with senior people in the firm and get my name known
Alot of skills will stand me in good stead for studying, unless i go back to MS alot of skills learnt will be lost as there working methods is most likely different to everyone elses!
The Company
the banter was great, the people were interesting and not dull like some places i have worked. This kept me entertained throughout the day and meant i enjoyed me work much more.
other placement students on the course made it more fun! but split between reading and london city
alot of training, and any issues could be taken with staff.. they also let you do the MS certificates if you wish!
Flexi Time
Company Parties/Events
Staff Sales/Staff Shop
Above 25 days holiday
Working from home
The graduate scheme doesn't offer financial programmes :(! So maybe business side!
The Culture
Yes as we all lived together, there was a lot of fun to be had! We got along very well too so i guess that always helps. We organised a lot of outings too
London city - speaks for itself!? But I must say it was manageble when shareing with other people and well worth the experiance
Again comment as before - it was awesome night life, but expensive!! So you my have to limit your nights out - not like uni!
Lot's of things to do whether in reading or in city! Great clubs and pubs so let your hair down!
