About You
I enjoyed the business games as well as the talks given by people working at Deloitte. Being people similar to me as well made me feel a lot more comfortable, rather than simply being on my own.
We were treated very well, and especially enjoyed the Dinner where we had an opportunity to talk with employees of Deloitte. I never felt like there were too many of us on the scheme therefore it was a lot easier to talk to people.
As mentioned before, the ratio was very good which allowed the support to be ver good. I was hesitant when I found out the mock interviews were in front of other people but it turned out to be very helpful.
I perhaps wouldn't argue that it will help me with my degree, but in life I would say that being in that environment was definitely beneficial in the long term.
The Company
Everything seemed to flow fairly smoothly which was good. I didn't mind finishing on the first day when we did, but to say we were going to finish a lot earlier wasn't particularly great, but I suppose that has prepared me for future life when that might happen a lot!
Got on really well with everyone
The time that each person put in was very impressive, I felt that has drawn me closer to Deloitte.
Not hugely, we went around all the different sectors, so it was hard to simply say I know what it's like.
I was able to see how friendly everyone was and the relationships that were there.
I am now definitely sure of the sector I want to apply for which is very good. Admittedly I enjoyed the other sectors more than I thought.
Everything Else
I drove and wasn't really bothered about expenses.
They were all open to letting us ask questions, and the dinner was a great opportunity.
Perhaps have more "hosts" at the table, so each person has 2 to talk to. But that isn't a significant issue.
Not particularly
If this was an area they were interested in then definitely
