About You
So much fun - amazing people and amazing programme of activities for us to enjoy!
Couldn't believe how friendly the staff were - really made me feel comfortable and at home.
Great system of assigning one facilitator to each team of 6 - gave us an obvious point of help/advice.
Learnt a lot without really realising it because I had so much fun doing it!
The Company
Packed in the activities but gave us enough chill time that everything was able to run smoothly and didn't get too intense.
Good mix of learning in different ways with lots of different activities, meaning we weren't bored for a second!
I felt like I really mattered to the firm and they were investing in me to get the best out of a potential employee.
As we weren't actually working within the firm's offices or working on actual projects we couldn't get real experience of what it would be like to work there but we were given so much information and advice that we were still able to get a really good idea of what it would be like.
It showed off the best of what the company has to offer and allowed us to talk to real employees about their experiences.
Confirmed that Ernst & Young are a firm I would really love to work for in the future
Everything Else
We were given so much in terms of experience and opportunity that there was no need to pay us. It was very fair of them to reimburse our travel expenses though.
Representatives from many different areas of the firm were around to chat and share their experiences which was really useful.
The partner dinner allowed us an opportunity to talk to more senior members of the firm which was really interesting. Throughout the entire academy the facilitators were around to chat to so it didn't feel to formal or intimidating to ask other questions or advice.
No particular emphasis on activities outside of work although we did get to ask employees about their work-life balance.
Absolutely amazing week in every way - I'd definitely recommend it!
