About You
The insight was a good exposure to working for PwC. The days were packed with various activities and social events but on the whole it was enjoyable.
Although the talent academy was not held inside the offices, the staff were friendly and helped us all to feel welcome when we arrived at the venue and throughout our time there.
We gained group and individual feedback on the various tasks that we participated in.
Before the insight, I had no experience of working in a team. Now I do feel slightly more confident when tackling those daunting assessment centre tasks!
The Company
The days ran according to schedule most of the time.
I got to know a diverse range of individuals from different universities and courses which was a great experience. The atmosphere on the whole was lively, especially during the evening networking events.
The company gave us a lot of freebies as well as an all expenses paid trip, so I can't really fault that!
It gave me a good idea of what PwC stands for and what I would expect if I got a full time role with them.
It gave me a good vibe about the culture of the firm. I would have liked to know more, but I guess that comes from actually working within the firm.
The content was really useful as they also explained the different service lines one could join.
Everything Else
Freebies, expenses, food and some drinks all provided by PwC.
There were plenty of opportunities. Mostly in the evening though which did get tiring!
These were good but by the end of the day, a lot of people were ready to call it a night, myself included.
They have ample opportunities with clubs and societies which they promoted.
I would recommend it because it has been really beneficial in crafting my understanding of the professional services industry.
