The Role
Great place and great people.
Didn't find all the work I did was totally valued however I was
Was generally left to my own devices. However, if I needed help and discussed team members were more than happy to help out.
Work really peaked and troughed.
Viewed as a normal member of staff so had responsibilities like everyone else.
I don't think there was much cross over with my University course. However, I think this will set me up for the future when I graduate.
The Company
Environments are different depending on department. However, marketing was generally a fun place to work with nice people.
I think the process overall was fairly well set up. Intel hire many interns every year so the process is tried and tested. In my experience I was the first intern for my position in the UK. I therefore didn't really have a handover as my predecessor was based in Germany.
There were several compulsory training courses at the start. However, you are able to take on further training on areas that may interest you (assuming there is demand to make it worthwhile).

Very appealing however the likelihood of a post grad is not very likely. Mainly due to head count available.
The Culture
Social scene was generally good with events and trips planned throughout the year,
Relatively cheap.
Swindon is a pretty poor place for night life however you cans still have a decent night.
Lots of volunteering and charity work opportunities that you can be involved with.
