  • 1. To what extent did you enjoy the insight?

    • Quite enjoyable, particularly liked the micro shadowing.

    • Everyone was really friendly and helpful.

    • Graduate recruitment in particular were very supportive and open to answering any questions.

    • As mentioned before, the shadowing sessions were the most valuable, as well as some of the workshops.

    • Well structured, full schedule everyday.

    • Very open and friendly.

    • It was only a two day placement, but the activities set for us were well thought out.

    • Again, it was only a short placement, but one workshop in particular was helpful in letting us know the process for applying for a vacation scheme/training contract with them.

    • It allowed me to see actually how friendly the firm in fact was.

    • Quite useful, as I gained an insight into the day to day work of some departments within the firm- some of which I enjoyed and some not.

    Everything Else

  • 11. Were you paid or reimbursed adequately for this experience?

    • Linklaters were excellent in reimbursing expenses and paying for an overnight stay in a hotel.

  • 12. Were there opportunities for networking and meeting other employees of the company or firm?

    • Definitely. We were allowed the opportunity to meet partners, associates and trainees.

    • They held a social event for us on the first night which was quite fun.

    • We were able to see what groups people join within work, and some of the social events people take part in.
