About You
Very fun day!
Very kind staff and they valued our input as we dealt with a client.
We received feedback at the end of the day about all of our strengths and weaknesses.
I didn't really learn any new skills. I already knew my routes with Ernst & Young via their website, so the information wasn't that helpful to me personally - but those ignorant on the subject would have found it useful.
The Company
Lots of breaks and events throughout the day - it felt very well planned.
Very professional and fun. I and other members of the group grew tired by the end of the day - lots of people travelled from far and wide, and therefore started the day as early as 4:30 am.
They didn't invest major training, but it was only a one day insight day.
We had the opportunity to speak with real students who worked at EY, so it gave us first hand accounts of what it'd actually be like to work there.
I learnt a lot by speaking to EY graduates and listening to what they had to say about the culture of the company.
Answered all of my questions about what it'd be like to work at EY.
Everything Else
They paid £68 in travel fees for me.
Lots of opportunities, met with lots of graduates at EY.
OK, but we networked whilst having food. I would have preferred to eat my lunch first, then network.
Yes, they told me what they did after work.
It broke away from the stereotype of a mundane Accountancy office job - the experience was very fun and I'd recommend it to all of my friends.
