About You
Excellent two days. Pretty full on with a lot of information to take in whilst also being very interactive. A lot of insight events can be dull powerpoint marathons but this was very engaging.
A whole range of staff from Analyst to Partner spent time with us.
Lots of good feedback and staff that were very approachable.
Not necessarily relatable to degree studies but lots of very useful information about the industry, application processes and interviewing skills.
The Company
Very well structured, all major service lines gave a presentation combined with some sort of business game.
Good fun and everyone was relatively casual whilst still being professional and focused on the tasks in hand.
Not necessarily a lot of personalised training but for a two day insight there was a good amount of feedback on team and individual performance.
Went in with a vague idea of what each service line provided and came out with some very clear knowledge about the firm.
Lots of helpful discussions with staff members who all gave a consistent account of the type of company that Deloitte is to work for.
Very valuable, definitely made consulting the number one candidate for a career.
Everything Else
Travel expenses reimbursed.
Dinner on the first night was a good networking opportunity, with staff members available to talk with throughout the course.
Nice dinner, good number of Deloitte staff in attendance.
Lots of emphasis placed on this by staff, Deloitte seems to be a very sociable place to work.
Definitely, provides a useful head start in the recruitment process as well as being extremely informative.
