About You
I enjoyed it tremendously. I really do feel as if I would love to work in Deloitte in the forseeable future.
Amazing accommodation and facilities. Interns were treated very well.
Facilitators moved around to different groups, which was really useful as we could interact with Deloitte staff on a more personal basis and clarify whatever doubts we may have.
I learnt a lot on interview skills, as we were given both one on one critique along with peer review which really helped develop my skills.
The Company
It was really well structured in the sense that there were appropriately timed breaks and presentations weren't all packed into a short period of time, allowing us time to digest and understand information before moving on to the next session.
At some points it was a little bit too one-sided, just lots of presentations. The second day was slightly less interactive than the first.
As it was a two day experience, the only training and development was really the interview session, which was essentially five minutes long per person. Although it was a really good session, I thought that it was shorter than it could have been.
We had many of Deloitte's staff from different service lines share us their personal experiences, with plenty of time for us to approach them with questions.
The session showed how much Deloitte's staff truly enjoyed their work, found it meaningful and had a
It provided comprehensive understanding on the different service lines within Deloitte, the work and culture.
Everything Else
Was not necessary, as am based in London.
We had all the opportunity to engage with Deloitte employees.
The student to staff ratio was remarkably low, and students really could get a lot of personal time from Deloitte's staff.
There was little mention on activities outside work except for a passing mention on dragon boating and the number of socials.
It gives you a headstart above your peers in applying for the SVS and gives you comprehensive understanding on the services that professional services firms offer, in particular that of Deloitte.
