UBS Insights Review

A great deal it mixed social and work aspects very well and balanced.

The insight didn't give us much time to work alongside or add any value to what the firm does, but contributed to more our development.

We were instructed on the various tasks we had to complete each day and given a set schedule.

The presentation and group exercises have developed the dynamics of any work environment.

As there was a daily timetable everything pretty much ran to schedule.

It was both working hard during the day then providing social activities after work.

Learning resources such as information on investment banking coupled with related job tasks and the whole week itself showed the great investment from UBS.

There were guest speakers from most divisions detailing us on the kind of roles and what was involved.

As we were segregated mainly to a single room, we weren't really offered the opportunity to engage in the working environment.

The structure of it being extremely informative helped raise my awareness of the underlying nature of investment banking.

Not paid or reimbursed for travel

On the first day there was a lunch to engage with employees however after that it lacked any interaction.

It was quite a hectic and packed environment so wasn't particularly relaxing

Never had the opportunity to directly ask employees but there seemed a lot to offer from their website.

Definitely, as it provides a wealth of knowledge into the different divisions from actual employees.
