The Role
I thoroughly enjoyed the placement and am very pleased to gain a graduate offer
I thought everyone at the office, irrespective of their position, made me feel very welcome and gave me all the help and support i needed
They helped me with everything i did, and gave me very detailed help with all the tasks i had to complete
There wasnt really enough hours in the day to complete everything 'fully', theres always something extra that could be done
I was given quite a substantial amount of responsibility considering i was an internee, with a lot of close work with clients at their sites
i think it gave me a real insight into how the business world works which i can then relate the theories learned in uni lectures with the real business world
The Company
Very friendly and welcoming
very very good. all their core values were drilled into us from the very outset and a whole range of work that they do we attempted aswell
given it was only 4 weeks, i dont think this question really applies, but they do invest a whole lot with training and with exams etc.
Flexi Time
Subsidised Canteen
National Travel
Company Parties/Events
Staff Sales/Staff Shop
Healthcare from home
Healthcare/Dental
Once you are professionally qualified, you can pretty much do anything with them
The Culture
the other 2 guys i was with were easy to get along with and we had a great social bond during the 4 weeks
very cheap, i live in the area anyway so that was cheap plus socialising is cheap in cardiff
cardiff nightlife is excellent! particularly on rugby weekends
they usually hold month end drinks, and sometimes social days
