About You
Each of the 4 sessions were really useful, and everyone was friendly. Lunch time was a great opportunity to speak to graduates and others of my own age.
It made me feel like it really would be worth while applying to the summer internship as I had already been accepted on to the insight programme.
We were put into small groups so it was easy to talk to the people holding the insight day.
It gave me an insight into what sort of career i would be interested, but I didn't actually learn much on the educational side.
The Company
It was very well structured. We werent left waiting around at any point.
It was very relaxed and I didnt fee like I was being judged. Everyone was friendly, and there was a diverse group of people.
It was only an insight day.
Workers there told us what it is like to work there.
It became apparent that the Manchester office for that company was quite small, so everyone knows each other, yet they have access to offices all over the globe. So it is both International, yet a very friendly atmosphere. People are willing to help each other out in the work place.
As there are so many different aspects to Finance, it was good to see some of the job roles in a more detailed way.
Everything Else
We were reimbursed for our travel expenses.
During lunchtime you could talk to current employees of the company.
Very relaxed.
They told us they had various sports teams.
Yes, if actuarial or investment consulting were appealing to them.
