The Role
The people I worked with really made my internship enjoyable. Sometimes the tasks I was doing could feel a bit repetitive but with no experience in accounting I wouldn't have expected anything else.
Really nice people to work with.
Everybody was really kind and if I had a question they were always willing to answer it. Never made to feel bad if I didn't understand what I was meant to be doing!
Sometimes there wasn't any work that I could do, so I spent my time looking up things which I thought would help me in my final interview.
All the work I was doing was simple but it needed to be done and nobody else repeated the work I did.
Certainly very useful as I have been offered a graduate job for when I finish university so everything I learnt while I was there I will use then. Wouldn't say that what I learnt would help me with my degree.
The Company
Ereryone got on with their work in general, but there was akways chatting and banter going on in the office.
Flexi Time
Subsidised Canteen
Company Parties/Events
Staff Sales/Staff Shop
The Culture
I would say there is a good social scene. I went on an evening out with all the women in my office which was really good fun. Also had a very good time on the 2day induction with the other interns. Everyone was very friendly.
Leeds is a great place for a night out.
Loads to do in leeds!
