About You
Despite being mildly apprehensive, I honestly found myself enjoying the sessions.
They made us feel like we had done extremely well to get there and that we had taken the first step towards potential career at Deloitte.
There were always a lot of Deloitte staff around to help if you needed it.
Considering it was my first time at such an event, I learnt a lot about how to present myself and how to go about making the most of the insight week.
The Company
Clear structure which squeezed the most out of the two days.
All the staff and scholars were welcoming and happy to help.
They gave us individual mock interviews to help us with later stages of the process and also skills we could use for future job interviews.
We did practice case studies within each department to get a taste of daily work and also got to talk to a lot of employees to ask about their experiences.
There was a lot of focus of the ethos of the company and their main goals and expectations.
It made me consider a lot of different areas that I might not have put serious thought into before hand.
Everything Else
My travel expenses were covered and they paid for the cost of the hotel and meals.
Yes we got to speak to employees during our sessions as they were often running them and they also took us out for dinner with many employees so we could network and learn more from them.
Surprisingly enjoyable, we socialised over a meal and every was friendly and easy to talk to.
Brief mention of clubs and societies but not in great depth
100% it was very insightful.
