About You
It was very insightful but also enjoyable due to the interactive nature
We were only there for a day but were treated with a lot of respect, as potential future colleagues
A lot of guidance was given regarding the next steps in the recruitment process and how to give yourself the best chance of being successful
As we were only there for one day the skills taught were limited, but what we did learn about negotiating and other typical legal skills, will be extremely helpful in the future
The Company
Extremely well structured - we over ran at some points but that was only a good thing because the level of interaction and engagement was so high!
Everyone taking part was passionate and excited to be there
It was great to have so much time and effort invested in us without having even started the recruitment process
Being there for one day made it difficult to understand a real 'day in the life' because we didn't have time to shadow people or spend time in departments
Meeting such a wide variety of people from the firm was enough to get a great idea of the culture
It helped me decide I want to work for them!
Everything Else
The option for reimbursement up to 100 pounds was available
We had networking drinks after the Open Day for a more informal discussion
We had networking drinks after the Open Day for a more informal discussion and we also had lunch with the trainees.
This wasn't discussed extensively on the day
Definitely, it is a great way to both gain more information bout the firm and get yourself introduced to the right people so they know who you are!
