About You
Guidance was given based on the task from trainees and senior lawyers. Much of it was being thrown in at the deep and and using your own initiative to get the job done. Challenging, but rewarding!
Provides a great insight into how the knowledge learned during a law degree applies to real life scenarios, and an understanding of how to apply the skills developed during a degree course.
The Company
Great social events, really supported getting to know everyone in the firm and on the vacation scheme. Really enhanced the whole experience
Most of the skills that were used on the job were developed elsewhere. The experience allowed me to tie those skills into work experience and to use them to provide value to the team I was working in.
The whole time I was treated as a trainee minus the LPC. I was never asked to do anything beyond my abilities, but the whole time I was challenged and pushed.
Everything Else
Loads of time to meet everyone in the company from partners to trainees, alongside future vacation schemers and a trip to meet the Paris office!
