    • Good guidance, but little one-to-one except during shadowing.

    • Very good grounding in the ins and outs of an investment bank with some non-banking skills like teamwork, personal branding etc.

    • Seamlessly structured.

    • Quite a few presentations at the start but a very friendly atmosphere and group of people.

    • Many workshops and group presentations.

    • Many graduate employees came by to talk and answer questions about the summer internship and the graduate programme.

    • You can't get a UBS employee to stop talking about how much they love the firm.

    • Made each division sound extremely interesting - almost an issue of too many choices.

  • 11. Were you paid or reimbursed adequately for this experience?

    • Those who don't live in London were reimbursed for travel and hotel.

  • 12. Were there opportunities for networking and meeting other employees of the company or firm?

    • Many networking sessions, particularly at the end of the week.

    • One night out at a bowling alley for the interns and a networking lunch and networking sit-down session.

    • Discussed the programmes and volunteering UBS employees do

    • For someone even slightly considering a career in investment banking - UBS Insight is perfect. They do not grill you personally about knowledge of the industry until the Assessment Centre on the last day (which if you pass means you get a summer internship the next year).
