About You
Found out a lot of information about the various lines of service and the people at the firm were very friendly and helpful.
People in the firm were generally very friendly and easy to get along with. Networking dinner and the more relaxed drinks sessions afterwards were great ways to find out more about them and their experiences at Deloitte.
Very structured insight program, got feedback after each presentation, business game and mock interview.
Difficult to say to what extent skills were improved as the program was very short but the first session about body language I felt was very useful.
The Company
Very well organised.
Some of the other students that attended were quite shy and/or serious but the people I was with I got along well. Short length of the program meant that it was quite difficult to get to know people very well. Networking ice breaker I felt was helpful.
Stayed in 5 Star Hotel with 24hr bar, got all food provided for and transport reimbursed so reasonably investment from the firm.
Speaking to people in different lines of service and of differing seniority levels were very helpful.
Short duration of program makes it difficult to judge completely but first impressions were good.
Quite daunting to think these 2 days may go very far in shaping my career but at the same time it was very helpful to get a better image of the industry.
Everything Else
Transport reimbursed.
Networking dinner and business games where we got to speak with people from different lines of service and practices.
Dinner was good and drinks afterwards were fun.
Seem to be some socials but varies between lines of service.
Very useful two days.
