About You
Very interesting and informative. By best job every would probably be shopping non stop and eating all I wanted. That job does not exist, so this would be the second best option!
I wouldn't want to feel valued like family at somewhere I was working...so the fact that the firm was not all the way 'like family' is a good thing! I did feel very valued though.
Any question I had was answered.
Information on the insight helped me make an informed decision about what I want to do after my degree.
The Company
Very well organised and well structured between interactive sessions and listening to speakers.
It shouldn't be fun fun fun as that would give off the wrong perception of what that working environment was like- so that fact that it is not 'fun never stopped' is a good thing. I did have lots of fun moments though.
taught us lots about the different divisions and the skills needed in the industry. Considering it was an insight it would be inappropriate for the firm to commit to full training and development when people were using the week to decide if they wanted to enter the industry.
Really showed me what life at the firm would be like.
Learnt lots about the culture of the company and what they expect of employees.
Very- confirmed to be this is definitely the career path I wish to pursue.
Everything Else
Would not expect to be paid.
Yes- multiple networking lunches, a networking dinner, and an opportunity to ask employees questions constantly in sessions.
Very helpful.
Yes- we had a talk from CSR and from diversity groups within the bank.
If I felt they would enjoy and suit a career in this industry then definitely.
