    • The information was more relevant to a career in the bank and very useful if you are considering banking and a summer internship at BAML

  • 5. How well structured was the insight?

    • Very well structured, we were able to fit in a lot of activities and presentations within 5 days.

    • Fast paced, busy, you really got a feel for the business and office environment.

  • 7. In terms of personal training and development, to what extent did the company or firm invest in you?

    • We had an interview skills session and a 'How to Read the FT' session. The case study on M&A was very interesting as well.

    • A lot, meeting the business reps and also an office tour gave us a good understanding of company culture.

    • The insight week was invaluable to understanding what its like to work in a bank, and which division to choose.

  • 11. Were you paid or reimbursed adequately for this experience?

    • Travel expenses and accommodation will be reimbursed if you live outside of London.

  • 12. Were there opportunities for networking and meeting other employees of the company or firm?

    • A lot of the lunches were with business reps so we were able to have some good chats.

    • On the first night, we had welcome drinks and on Thursday we went to a very posh restaurant for dinner with many very senior business reps and VPs etc

    • Not really.

  • 15. Would you recommend this insight to a friend?

    • Yes if you are considering working in BAML you should definitely do this spring week. Also there is a fast track option to an AC if you perform well
