About You
The insight was very well organised with many talks, games and networking opportunities. The other attendees were also very friendly.
Everyone was nice and was quite pleased to answer our questions. The people were really helpful and understanding.
There was an interview skills talk on the eve of our interview which was helpful. The work shadowing also was interesting.
I think the programme helped us develop our communication skills, teamwork and commercial awareness, skills which will always be used!
The Company
The programme was well structured and we already knew what we would be doing the next day. We were given a schedule on the first day of the programme.
The other girls were friendly. The HR people were very nice. We also went on a Thames river cruise on the second evening.
Much was invested.
It was an insight programme, so we had an overview of all the divisions. The 2 hours of work shadowing in a specific division was not enough to fully understand the latter.
There were many networking opportunities, so we met lots of people who were kind, helpful and passionate about their job.
I have not yet chosen a final career path but it has helped me narrow down my choices.
Everything Else
Travel expenses were reimbursed. Accommodation, breakfast, lunch and dinner were provided.
Definitely. There were networking opportunities everyday.
Great! The speed networking is really efficient for meeting and talking to many people.
Not really. People seem to be enjoying what they do at work and seem to be working long hours.
It was a memorable 3 day programme. Will definitely recommend it to everyone who would like to meet more people and learn more about banking.
