About You
Great welcome, definitely a place I aspire to work at.
During shadowing, the guidance was exceptional despite them clearly being under a lot of pressure.
Especially, the skills in some of the personal development workshops will definitely be useful in the future.
The Company
Given a detailed program of the content we would cover at the beginning and this was stuck to.
Nice people, good activities, great experience, all in all, a worthwhile way to spend two days of my holiday.
Through various workshops etc. Also paying for my transport costs and a night in London were a welcome surprise.
Hence, I aspire to work at Linklaters in the future.
Family atmosphere with strict, high standards of work offered to every client.
Commercial Law is where I want to be.
Everything Else
Considering this was only a short scheme for 1st year students, I clearly did not expect to get paid, and the reimbursement of expenses was a nice surprise.
Networking was really enjoyable, a confidence boost and generally very useful.
Good fun.
Surprising amount of additional activities were on offer.
Well worth the long application process, long journey and part of my Easter holiday.
