About You
Very enjoyable experience. Was taken care of very well.
Everyone was really nice, from the HR people to the employees. I was put at a desk and everyone made sure I felt welcome.
Everyone was more than willing to help. They asked me if I had any questions they whole time.
It does not directly relate to what I study which is Chemical Engineering. But you gained a real insight into how banking works and I got to sit in calls with clients to see what skills are required to be good at the job.
The Company
Very well organised with all the information available at all times.
Very relaxed and fun.
We were put into desks just by ourselves and it was up to the team to teach you what was required.
Couldn't ask for a better way to understand. I was basically part of the team for the week, coming and leaving as they would.
Was with the same team through out working with people from a range of different levels.
Perfect way to realise if banking if right for you as you are put into the situation that you will be everyday.
Everything Else
They paid for all travel fees and food during the week. Provided accommodation if required.
A range of different networking events apart from the team you were put in.
One night we were put on a boat cruise down the river Thames with a 3 course meal. Another night was a speed networking event with people from a range of different divisions.
Lots of different things you can do. They have team socials, etc too.
Perfect way to get a proper insight into how banking works while learning a great deal and having a fun time!
