About You
A great deal as I was able to experience a lot of what the firm has to offer in such a short amount of time. I also have some valuable contacts to take away from the week!
Extremely, we were allocated actual tasks to complete and so it was more than what I would have thought a traditional 'insight week' would consist of.
Adequate amounts of support was given throughout the week both at the office and on some of the visits we made to planned sites etc in the City. Staff were very responsive to questions.
Similar in some aspects to my degree, I have taken away a lot of practical experience from this week that cannot be taught in a classroom
The Company
Very well-structured, I felt. There was a good flow between events and I did not feel bored as a result of the wide variety of events offered - i.e. not just presentations but a lot of hands on work/
Great! A very sociable atmosphere at the firm which I enjoyed, as well as amongst the participants which was a bonus as everyone sort of fed off each other's enthusiasm.
Vast amounts, really let you try out the tasks that a graduate might be taking on and so allowed me to get a true flavour of what areas I needed to improve on.
The hands-on tasks really were beneficial - I was involved in a lot of spreadsheet work on a computer which was unexpected.
A genuinely warm environment to work in - that was the feeling I got at the end of the week. I felt at ease for the entire duration of the programme.
Reaffirmed that real estate is an area worth considering as a career path

Plenty of chances to speak with many members of the firm including senior directors who were more than happy to share their experiences.
Great! Lots of refreshments on hand, and the staff were really personable despite doing a lot of speaking.
Not so much, although I am sure that this is available to employees should you have the time.
Be sure to apply if you are considering, or even vaguely interested in the industry.
