About You
I very much enjoyed the spring week. I learnt a lot!
I was only a week insight so I did not feel particularly 'valued'.
There were many useful and interesting talks on investment banking. Everyone was always happy to help.
Apart from furthering my knowledge of investment banking, the networking skills I learnt were very useful.
The Company
We were given booklets with timetables in them. Everything was very well structured!
Everyone on the Spring Week was very friendly!
Many people were brought in, in order to give talks to us.
Shadowing current employees for 2 days helped me to understand what it would be like to work full time at RBS.
Shadowing current graduates was very helpful.
Everything Else
It was only one week long and I live in London. Therefore, I did not expect to be reimbursed.
There were networking sessions most evenings.
There was a fun quiz one night just for the interns as well as a networking night on the last evening.
We were told about the community service activities that employees must complete. On the last day, we traveled to East London in order to participate in a community project run by RBS and Tower Projects.
Yes, if you are interested in pursuing a investment banking career.
