About You
A really interesting experience overall where you get to meet a lot of people with very different backgrounds
The fact that there is an AC at the end of the week speaks for itself: it shows that they really want you to join RBS for a summer internship or the graduate program.
It was really nice to have the opportunity to do rotations on the different desks because you really get to see what people do on a daily basis. It gives you a real insight of how your future job might look like.
The Company
2 days of lectures, 2 days of rotation and an assessment center at the end of the week.
Everything was made so that the participants could bond (with a quiz night for instance).
There were "games" and some interesting lectures where you get to know how to handle a meeting with a client for instance.
The rotations on different desks really gave you a flavor of how it would be like to work there.
Speaking with the graduates who were really genuine really helped me to understand the company culture and how it is important when considering a job in IB.
Everything Else
train tickets + accommodation + (good) food
Rotations and a networking event at the end of the week. Plus, you can always ask them for their email and ask more questions.
The atmosphere was really friendly.
At the end of the week you do some charity work which RBS employees can get involved in every week.
