The Role
Brilliant experience, long hours and mundane tasks at times but glad I have done it!
Everyone treats me as an equal. Some colleagues have soent more time getting to know me than others
Always given guidance and any queries were answered quickly
Very busy most of the time. A few quite days but not many!
I was given a good level of responsibility. It made me work hard however was not piling on too much pressure
I have aquired skills that can be applied to all aspects of life and will make my degree at university a lot more comprehendable when I start
The Company
Not as quite as other floors which I liked. Everyone got on well with good banter!
Well organised for the most part. Was not assigned a supervisor until a month into my placement however
Always invited to training sessions and involved in a lot of corporate social responsibility
Subsidised Canteen
Company Parties/Events
A brilliant commercial law firm to work with
The Culture
Met up for lunch with the other gap year interns every day
Very expensive in London
Lots of bars and resturants but again it is expensive in London
I got involved with well over 15 corporate responsibility events and could have taken up more opportunities with a lighter workload.
