About You
An enjoyable and fulfilling experience.
An incredibly friendly environment; everyone shared their views openly and even senior management would take their time out to meet us of their own accord.
Analysts would make time
A real insight into an investment bank. Training was interactive and fun, and I personally learnt a lot of things about the various desks that I would never have known if I had not gone for the insight.
The Company
Very well-structured; two days of training with two days rotations across most desks in the department.
Everyone was friendly and helpful; Analysts would go out of their way to make us feel comfortable, interacting with us on a much more personal level. Training was interactive and fun, and people generally enjoyed themselves.
First day of training to understand working in a bank, second day to get a feel.
3-hour rotations with analysts gave quite a good idea of what their work entails. It is a bit short to get a comprehensive understanding though.
The company's culture really stood out during the insight. Analysts were all friendly, people were helpful, even senior management shared a similar interest in us.
Gave myself quite a good idea on what banking entails.
Everything Else
Stayed within the M25.
Mostly in terms of the analysts met during the rotation. Less opportunity to meet employees all across the company.
Social events were alright, though dinner could have been provided since it lasted quite a while.
Simply asked the analysts.
A great insight into RBS.
