The Role
Very little work
Extremely nice working environment
I spoke to my manager everyday he helped me with my work and my Spanish too
Quite bored most days
As the months past I was given more and more tasks to do with greater responsibility
My language skills learnt are invaluable and I have learnt a lot about investment banking, how i works, terminology etc.
The Company
Good atmosphere
Overall good
Management were very keen to give their time and attention to my development within the company
Personally I would not like a job in this department but would consider working for Deutsche Bank in the future, either in Spain or the UK.
The Culture
I was the only student contracted for a year, there were other students that stayed for 1-2 months at a time, but they were in a different department. This wasn´t a negative point.
Excellent salary for Spain placement students, covered everything and more!
Brilliant night life, weekend activities etc
Always something to do in Madrid...the city never sleeps
