About You
Good at learning about all the different divisions of the bank to help make the decision on where I would like to complete a full internship. Also very interactive and a good balance of presentations, work shadowing and games etc
They treated us very well, HR and the graduate recruitment team looked after us the whole week and were very approachable, good food and drink provided and some fun evenings.
Very good everyone was approachable and friendly so I was not afraid to ask for help when needed.
The main way it will assist is on the decision as to which division of the bank I would like to join in the future and overall understanding of the finance industry.
The Company
Very clear organised structure to the week, we were given a timetable so it was obvious where we should be at all times.
All the BAML staff and other interns were very friendly and so although everyone was working hard there was a relaxed and friendly atmosphere.
Good, they got a large number of employees to come and talk and share their experiences with us so it felt like we were gaining a lot of insight from all sections of the bank.
There was only a small amount of work shadowing so day to day activities of working in the bank wasn't clear but we had a lot of presentations on different roles and what they entail.
Networking with so many employees gave me a real feel of what it would be like to be part of the company.
Very valuable, I learnt a lot about what is required in each role helping me understand where my skills would be best suited.
Everything Else
Travel and accomodation
Yes, there were plenty of networking opportunities from work shadowing, networking lunches and a dinner in the city with BAML employees.
Very good, they were relaxed and so it was a good opportunity to have good insightful conversations with employees.
Yes, we had a whole presentation on societies that can be joined within the bank.
Yes.
