The Role
I dont have a lot to compare it against, but not minding to get up every morning is saying something
Very - others did not know i was an IP
Got on with manager very well. Everyone is helpful if you ask.
Sometimes very but there is always something to be getting on with - making the day go faster
Responsible for internal comms and accountable
Good, the commercial world is very different to university. Iwould question the skills I have learnt at university.
The Company
Very good - everyone is friendly and made some very good friends!
Head office placements are more organised. i was the first IP in my office.
Compulsory 3 training sessions, plus a wealth of training available on teh learning @ Xerox intranet site, you can freely sign up to in order to develop skills.
Company Parties/Events
Above 25 days holiday
No guarentee for the grad scheme, but an IP bursary scheme is set up to retain the best.
The Culture
I was the only one
Leeds is a student city. I lived in the city centre which is at a premium - london is a lot more though!
Situated just outside the city but a free bus in and out each day.
Parties - Go Karting - Golf - eating out - clubbing - bowling.
