About You
During the work shadowing that was offered, although time was short, you felt as though you had a real responsibility and that people were taking their time to talk to you.
There was a lot of guidance and support offered; HR were always there to help and assist. In addition employees who had given talks were happy to offer advice and information on any queries.
The skills learnt were exceptionally useful. They will be handy, not only in the assessment centres, but also in work and academic life.
The Company
The programme was well laid out and we were told well in advance of any deadlines and important events.
The atmosphere was fantastic. Everyone was willing to chat and have a good time. But they were also very interesting and smart people.
The company spent a lot of time and effort organising case studies which taught a lot of work environment skills.
The work shadowing provided a brilliant insight into day to days working of the bank. Also, the busy nature of our schedule showed the level of commitment required to work there.
We met a huge number of people and consequently we were able to see the type of people the company employs. These were very committed and interesting people.
I personally changed my area of interest after attending the programme. The wealth of information provided is invaluable.
Everything Else
There was a huge amount of emphasis placed on networking and as a result there was a number of opportunities to network with people in a variety of levels within the bank
There was a real emphasis on serving the globe through charity and other commitments. The number of hours put in by employees was huge.
It was a brilliant insight that provided a vast amount of information and a huge number of opportunities. The people involved on the programme were helpful, receptive and engaging. It was extremely valuable.
