The Role
Really enjoyed working within an office envrionment for the first time. It gave me an insight into professional services firms and the type of career path i might like to take.
My co-workers were friendly and always willing to help me (if they werent too busy themselves!)
Due to the short length of the iternship, I was given good support by management, although most of the work i did was quite minor and didn't touch management level. My line manager was great.
The reporting nature of the role meant some tasks were very repetitive, but this can be expected on a short internship.
Responsiblilty grew as I progressed and the longer I was at Deloitte.
Initial 3 day training scheme. Overall experience set me up well for university.
The Company
Good culture and atomosphere
Deloitte have lots of interns coming through their schemes every year, so as expected the structure was good!
Felt I could have been put on more business specific training.
Sports and Social Club
Subsidised/Company Gym
Enjoyed it, but think i'll be going into something different
The Culture
I played 5 a side football and touch rugby.
London is a lot more expensive to live, than where I live at home. Drinks in london are also expensive (£3.30 + pint)
London caters for every social night out you need, whether than be a cocktail bar or a techno club.
Yes, I played 5 a side football and rugby.
