About You
Fun way to spend a couple of days during the Easter developing your key personal attributes and seeing how to implement them in a commercial setting.
Throughout the Academy, the employees (HR to partners) treated us so well and made us feel at home.
Many of the activities were really tailored towards the individual so that feedback was especially relevant to you yourself. I particularly found this aspect very rewarding.
This was more of a skills course in hindsight, nevertheless, I found it to be enriching in making you more aware of yourself in a commercial setting.
The Company
Seamless is a suitable word to describe the slick job by the organising staff, well thought out from beginning to end without cramming too much in!
Very lively amongst participants, great to meet people from other unis. I have gone on to stay in contact with several through Facebook.
The Academy itself was very beneficial for me in terms of what extra I learnt about myself and which areas to be more wary of in future. Amazing for personal development!
Through the presentations and just speaking with E&Y staff, it seems to be a laid-back, yet keen firm that I admire.
They say culture is all about the people, and it was very much about the people, the great people in fact, I met who worked there!
I am still undecided whether to consider a career in the professional services industries, yet I admire the firm greatly.
Everything Else
A whole host of opportunities were organised to speak with E&Y people, almost too many in my opinion, bearing in mind that we could also speak with them during the breaks.
Great that many employees would talk about life outside of work rather than their jobs themselves - said a lot about the people.
Array of activities including charitable work that employees are offered the chance to take part in - a good work-life balance I was told.
The Leadership Academy is the place to be for aspiring leaders regardless of the industry you want to join.
