About You
Best open day I have been on.
Very friendly atmosphere. The firm lives up to its reputation.
Very supportive.
Good information on applying to law firms in the future. Negotiation and presentation workshops were informative and fun.
The Company
Schedule for the day was well planned, as are most law firm open days.
Great atmosphere. Met some lovely people: both member of the firm and fellow students.
As much as I could ask for an open day. Clearly the objective of such days are to provide a more preliminary introduction to the firm.
Again, one can only learn so much from one day. But the people at the firm were willing to ask all our questions on life at the firm.
Fairly informative. Though it did not necessarily stand out among other firm open days in this respect. Also, at the risk of sounding pedantic, law firms are not actually companies.
The information given would be very helpful to those who are unsure. More informative than most firms.
Everything Else
Journey cost 3 pounds and lunch was free. Would have felt bad asking for reimbursements.
Met numerous lawyers and partners. As must usually be very busy, it was nice that they were willing to take time out to talk to us.
Not much time for social events per se. But that is because we only had one day.
May have been briefly mentioned but was not given great emphasis.
Anybody interested in an international law firm should look into these guys.
