About You
Very well structured programme, gain a great deal of experience, fantastic experience
All the guidance that you required could be given
It was a great programme to bridge the gap between theory and what actually occurs in day to day situations.
The Company
We were given a clear layout of what we would be going throughout the week
Very good atmosphere inside of the office, would definitely enjoying going back summer internship
They invested a lot of time in each and every intern, giving everyone a very equal opportunity.
From the various job shadowing roles throughout the insight, it gave us a good idea what to expect in a full time role.
It gave me a great understanding, especially with the publicity that RBS get compared to what actually goes on behind closed doors
It gave me a great idea personally on where I could see myself pursuing a future career
Everything Else
We had two 'networking drinks' sessions, as well as a variety of chances to engage with members of the company - be it over lunch or general chit cha -
There was good networking opportunities with members of the company, but also the chance to socialise with other interns was very good, particularly after work with the majority of us staying in the same location.
If you were to ask an employee how there free time is spent, the majority would give you an insight into their social activities outside of the work place
It was an incredible experience, I would highly recommend this insight to everyone interested in the industry!
