About You
There was a wide variety of talks, discussion panels, games and activities to do - the days were long but enjoyable.
They invest a lot of time and money into you!
People were generally really helpful, and willing to talk to you about career guidance.
Some good presentation skills given.
The Company
Really well structured, they give you an overview of lots of divisions in the firm - even the ones you didn't know existed.
Most days had such a variety of things going on. The closing dinner and quiz was definitely a highlight!
They gave you general presentation tips, but it's only a week - it's more about learning about the firm and the industry rather than developing skills.
You got a real sense of hours, lifestyle, career progressions.
Definitely a good company culture!
Whichever way you decide, it's a really good way of being able to make an informed decision.
Everything Else
These included travel expenses. They offered accommodation (I chose not to take it personally but heard it was really lovely). They also provided breakfast and lunch every day.
There would usually be at least one per day.
Lots of chances to talk to people including a drinks event and a dinner.
Some speakers mentioned what things they get involved in.
Great way to find out if a job in the banking industry is for you!
