About You
A really good insight into such a giant company
All staff were really friendly and approachable, they wanted to know our thoughts and fresh ideas.
We always had a point of contact and at all times were given guidance by staff and graduates.
Learnt a lot about how a business is run and the work that goes into the back office.
The Company
Apart from the changes in venues the insight was well structured.
Everyone was really friendly, interns and employees. Because it was a week away we would all have meals together and spending all day together meant that we all became good friends.
We were giving five fully packed days of talks and activities that really developed our skills. We also had a group presentation and interview which was good practice.
We had the chance to job shadow which gave a real insight into what a full time role would look like.
RBS has been given a bad name in the press but taking with employees and the people involved changed my perception of the bank.
Personally when comparing to other experiences I have had it was very helpful
Everything Else
We were given £100 for travel and food expenses for each day.
On the first day we had a networking lunch and drinks at the end of the day. Throughout the week we were encouraged to network and at the end of the week we closed with another networking drinks.
Could have been more in the evenings.
Did not ask but I'm sure all employees would have been happy to share
A really enjoyable and full on insight week.
