About You
It was a very interesting spring week, giving me a great insight into the different functions.
We were treated very well, given a great hotel and were made to feel comfortable whenever we were at the RBS offices.
We were walked through different sectors, given skills to improve our employability, and given great information into how such a large company works.
The information didn't specifically assist in my degree studies but has meant I have a better idea into where I want my future career to go. It has also provided me with great communication analytical skills that will increase my employability.
The Company
Very well structured with a timetable which was clear and easy to follow. With free time in the evenings to do extra work or kick back and relax with other interns.
Employees and interns were always having fun. The networking and interacting was a very useful sociable aspect. We were shown interesting parts of the business every day.
They used a lot of resources and money to give us a great insight into our possible futures.
It gave a great example of what it would be like working for RBS. Also we got a varied view depending on the sectors we could work in.
Networking and work shadowing gave us a good insight into company culture.
Everything Else
Yes through working shadowing and drinks and social networking evenings.
Great fun with snacks and drinks provided.
One aspect which was not fully touched upon.
I loved it and I feel its hugely important to see such a large business to get a good insight into possible future paths.
