About You
It was an extremely enjoyable week - I feel like I gained a real insight into life at a global law firm and it has persuaded me to pursue this as a career.
Everyone made me feel welcome and I was giving useful work to carry out which gave me a snese of responsibility
Everyone from Trainees to Partners was more than happy to answer all of my questions, explain the background to work I was giving and make me feel welcome.
Insight into life at a global law firm was very helpful.
The Company
We got given a timetable for the whole week on day 1 and it was followed throughout.
Everyone was extremely friendly and easy to get on with but it was a professional environment so there had to be an aspect of that.
We had workshops every morning, ranging from negotiation to corporate skills.
Got a chance to shadow trainees to see what life at the firm is like, and case study workshops gave a better understanding about which departments do what.
Everyone I met was extremely friendly, welcoming and happy to answer any questions I had.
Convinced me that working in a global law firm is the career route I wish to pursue.
Everything Else
I was paid for the week and travel expenses were reimbursed
